Want to start your own Journal?
This was surprisingly one of the most frequently asked questions we’ve been receiving.
“Can I start another Journal?”
Initially we thought that we couldn’t really manage to follow more than a notebook traveling around the world, but then we gave each others a a thoughtful look, that kind of look you get by rolling your eyeballs rightwards, holding them on for a few seconds and then moving them back onto your friends sitting in front of you.
“That’d be fun!” we said.
So, if instead of having the chance to write your story in the official MeetingLife Journal, you would rather start your own and have it travel the world yourself,
here is what to do:
1. Let us know you want to do it.
2. Get a notebook and customize the front cover. This will make the different notebooks recognizable by everyone.
3. Write your first story. Be inspiring.
4. If you can, make a video to explain what you’re doing. You can share it over your social media and get people involved.
5. Mail it to somebody and invite them to do the same thing.
How we can help you:
If you start your own journal we will give you a featured space on the blog on which you can post your updates and let people know about your notebook’s inspiring travel around the world.
You will be the one in charge of that space.
All you need to do is starting your journal and getting in touch with us.
Tips:

1. The notebook: the smaller it is, the cheaper it will be to ship it around.
2. Make your project social. Do what we’re doing with our journal. Have your participants make videos, take pictures and write blog posts. This will make things more interesting for everyone to follow.
3. Make a plan in advance. Invite a decent amount of participants before sending out the notebook for the first time.Or simply make sure that everyone you invite knows somebody else to send the notebook to after they receive it. This will help you speed up the process.
4. Write down a to-do list for all the participants. If they know what to do, they do it better.
We’re truly happy to see that the MeetingLife Journal, a very simple project, has been evolving and getting better thanks to your ideas.
We really can’t wait to see how this is going to go.
